Standard analysis of a stability of quantum droplets is based on the assumption that at equilibrium a hard-mode contribution to the total energy vanishes. This assumption introduces a constraint on densities of both components which, while supplemented by the vanishing pressure condition, allows to find equilibrium densities of both species. In my talk I will present a solution to the problem of droplets stability in a general case when neither a volume nor a number of atoms are controlled. To this end I will define physical constraints corresponding to a typical experimental situation first. Finally I will compare present results with the other existing in a literature.
