Testing and verifying quantum devices- Theory and experiment

I will discuss several protocols designed for the verification and characterization of quantum devices. I will focus on a recently developed protocol to verify the output of a quantum computer using only classical means. I will present a minimal example for realizing such a verification protocol and discuss its experimental implementation.
