Abstract : Quantum Error Correction has found applications in designing optimal quantum metrological protocols in presence of noise.Interestingly, the benefits go also in the other direction, as the knowledge of fundamental quantum metrological bounds imposes the limits on an important class of covariant transversal quantum error-correcting codes. The talk will be based on the preprint: Aleksander Kubica, and Rafał Demkowicz-Dobrzański, arXiv:2004.11893 (2020). ______________________________________________ Zoom meeting details Topic: Quantum Information and Quantum Computing Working Group Time: June 4, 2020, 04:00 PM Warsaw Join Zoom Meeting: QIQCWG-ZOOM Meeting ID: 640 279 690Password: tp4C,kERx If you encounter any problems with connecting to the Zoom meeting, please email filip.b.maciejewski@gmail.com directly.
