I will highlight some results on the understanding of the important excitations into evaluating the one-body correlation function of the Lieb-Liniger model, and an impurity immersed into a noninteracting gas.
Also, I will talk about the harmonically trapped Lieb-Liniger and our interest in calculating the asymptotic behavior of the momentum distribution characterized by Tan's contact.
