Director of the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CFT PAN) in Warsaw announces a competition for one part-time assistant professor position 0.5 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) under the QUONDENSATE „QUantum reservoir cOmputing based on eNgineered DEfect NetworkS in trAnsition meTal dichalcogEnides” financed by the European Commission (contract number: 101130384).

The selected candidate will join the Polariton Theory Group at CFT PAN managed by Michał Matuszewski.
The candidate must have experience in research on the interaction of light and matter and numerical simulations, and a PhD in physical sciences on the date of commencement of employment. The aim of the project is to implement a quantum neural network in two-dimensional semiconductor materials.
The position will be initially granted for one year, with the possibility of extension for another year, provided that the work efficiency is satisfactory.
The amount of monthly remuneration for part-time position is approx. PLN 5,500/month gross. The salary depends on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
