Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CFT PAN)
The Director of the Center for Theoretical Physics PAS invites applications for one Researcher R2 position (PhD holder or scientist with comparable experience and competence) in the EUCENTRAL project, implemented under the ERA Chair program (No. 101186579, https://eucentral.cft.edu.pl/), funded by the European Union. The project leader is Prof. Marzena Szymańska, ERA Chair Holder.
Responsibilities:
Preparing training materials explaining many-body systems.
Promoting numerical methods of the ERA Chair grant.
Required qualifications and skills:
Experience in developing and applying scientific software.
Experience in solving master equations.
Experience with methods typical for open quantum systems.
Experience in solving many-body systems including long-range interactions.
Employment conditions:
Duration: 3 months.
Start date: earliest June 1, 2025.
Salary: approx. 11,000 PLN gross per month.
