Due to the dynamic development of the institute, the Director of the Centre for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CFT PAN) announces a call for applications for an Assistant position funded from the institute’s own resources.
We are looking for passionate researchers willing to commit to the institute and contribute to its development by conducting excellent research within statutory activities, acquiring grant funding, and participating in organizational duties. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree, Master of Engineering degree, or an equivalent qualification.
Requirements:
Experience in theoretical physics research — analytical or numerical calculations;
A publication or preprint (arXiv).

Recruitment process:
Candidates will be evaluated based on submitted documents. Selected candidates may be invited for an interview (on-site or online). The decision will be announced by July 20, 2025, via email.
Employment conditions and salary:
Assistant position for 5 months;
Planned salary: 4685 PLN gross per month.

Candidates may appeal any decision at any stage of the recruitment process. Appeals will be reviewed by the CFT PAN Appeals Committee in cooperation with the HR Department.
