About the Project and Offer
The Director of the Centre for Theoretical Physics (CFT PAN) invites applications for an assistant position within the QUONDENSATE project, funded by the European Commission (grant no. 101130384). Project website: https://quondensate.eu.
The selected candidate will join the Polaritons Theory Group at CFT PAN led by Prof. Michał Matuszewski. The goal of the project is to implement a quantum neural network in two-dimensional semiconductor materials.
Requirements
- Experience in light-matter interaction research and numerical simulations
- Master’s degree in physical sciences at the start of employment
- Motivation to conduct research in quantum optics and 2D materials
What We Offer
- Employment for 1 year, possibility to extend by 1.5 years
- Salary approx. 8 000 – 9 000 PLN gross / month
