Abstract:I will shortly review the history of the quasars, then I will talk qualitatively about the physical model of the emission line formation we developed. This model - FRADO (Failed Radiatively Accelerated Dusty Outflow) - open a way to use continuum time delay in quasars to determine the Hubble constant. The last 5 minutes will be full of mathematics supporting the model quantitatively which comes from the recent paper from outside our group.
