The conference will take place in Zakopane, the most attractive tourist region in Poland. Zakopane is situated in southern Poland, about 100 km to the south of Cracow, close to the border with Slovakia. The Tatras, the hills of Podhale as well as the town itself are ideal places for walks or longer or shorter hikes. A walk around the town can be combined with visiting its monuments and other interesting places.

For participants from abroad, arriving at the airport in Cracow bus transportation to Zakopane will be organized.
There are also regular rail services between Cracow airport and Caracow main railway station (Kraków Główny). The travel time is about 15 min. Timetable is here.

For participants arriving by train - next to Cracow main railway station (Kraków Główny) there is a bus terminal. At the terminal operate some smaller companies offering bus transport to Zakopane. The buses depart every 15 min. The trip takes approximately 2 h. The map how to get to the "Geovita" hotel from the bus station in Zakopane is here.

Participants will be accommodated in hotel "Geovita". Lectures will take place in the conference hall of hotel "Geovita". The hotel accepts payments in cash (PLN only) or by credit and payment cards. There are many ATMs (cash machines) in Zakopane.

Note that citizens of some countries might need polish visa.
